Falcons S William Moore has missed the 1st 2 days of practice this week with a hamstring injury. HC Mike Smith told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that the team would try to get him -- and injured CB Asante Samuel -- on the field for Friday's workout. We'll check on the reports following that one. Moore didn't miss any time last Thursday night and posted a tremendous fantasy line. Obviously, any question about his hamstring would make the safety pretty risky against the Panthers, though. Samuel isn't much of a fantasy option even when 100%.

Robinson is the better IDP option, both because he's not as strong a cover man and because he's actually interested in tackling. The Falcons' explosive offense could further help the fantasy profile for a guy who opened his career as a useful IDP in Houston.

When it comes to drafting a defense in fantasy football, you should look to wait until the final couple rounds of your draft. The best strategy as a fantasy football owner for defenses is to go with the best matchups. Every week there will be a defense in your waiver wire that will be going up against one of the worst offenses in the league.
However, if you are a fantasy owner that looks to draft a defense around the 10th round, here is a list of defensive rankings for your 2012 fantasy football season.

Defense may not win Super Bowls as often as it used to, but it occasionally helps you win fantasy football leagues.
Training camps are open, preseason games are around the corner and fantasy owners should be shaping up their cheat sheets. And while many fantasy owners are worried about ranking the quarterbacks, running backs and wide receivers, defenses should not be forgotten.
Turnovers, sacks, defensive touchdowns and shutouts can help win fantasy games just as much as Aaron Rodgers touchdown tosses and Arian Foster 20-yard runs. So let’s look at all 32 NFL defenses and rank them
