The Raiders continued the 4th-round QB run by selecting Tyler Wilson with the 112th overall pick.  A tough, aggressive QB with plenty of arm strength, Wilson is one of our favorites in this year's class.  And Oakland is an intriguing landing spot.  Matt Flynn figures to get the first crack at the starting job, but he remains a major question mark.  We wouldn't be shocked to see Wilson get some playing time in 2013.  And he'd have some intriguing weapons to work with in Denarius Moore, Rod Streater and Jacoby Ford.

Just as Michael Crabtree is breaking out, the wide receiver who was stupidly drafted in front of him in 2009 is moving on. The Raiders cut Darrius Heyward-Bey on Tuesday, a move that will save the franchise $5.43 million. Heyward-Bey had his best season to date in 2011, catching 64 passes for 975 yards. But he never became the game-changing wide receiver the Raiders envisioned him being when they took him with the seventh overall pick. Crabtree, who was widely considered to be the best wideout in that year's draft, was chosen by the 49ers three picks later. The Oakland Raiders could look to sign a veteran wide receiver in the offseason that can be a dependable option for QB Carson Palmer in the passing game. The Raiders have not had a 1,000-yard wideout since 2005.

Raiders insider Steve Corkran expects WR Darrius Heyward-Bey to be cut this offseason unless he agrees to a restructured contract  DHB is due a prohibitive $7.7 million in 2013 -- far too much for a guy who has struggled to become a consistent weapon through 4 NFL seasons.  The former 7th overall pick has yet to record a 1,000-yard season.  And he's totaled just 11 TDs.  Oakland might be better off moving forward with Denarius Moore, Juron Criner, and Rod Streater as their top 3 WRs.

The Chargers finally picked up a win and did so against a playoff caliber team, on the road. While Danario Alexander started off slow, he eventually had his way with the Steelers secondary picking up seven receptions for 88-yards and two touchdowns.

It’s hard to like Dez Bryant as a person but when it comes to talent, we’ve known for some time he has the ability to be an elite option at the receiver position. The question was, would Bryant ever figure out what it takes to play at a Pro Bowl level in the NFL?

The forecast for today's Browns-Raiders game calls for rain and gusty winds.  The chance of rain at kickoff is just 50%, with the wind at 10 mph.  But there are expected to be gusts up to 30-35 mph throughout the day.  It's not enough to bump members of Cleveland and Oakland's passing games down the rankings, but it could be used as a tiebreaker if you're on the fence about starting guys like Carson Palmer, Denarius Moore, or Darrius Heyward-Bey.

With Willis McGahee done for the remainder of the regular season, rookie Ronnie Hillman will receive the opportunity many fantasy owners have been waiting for since he was drafted in the spring. Hillman worked his way into the prime backup job to McGahee over a month ago, now he has the starting job but expect Lance Ball and Knowshon Moreno to see some time on the field this week.

Only time will tell if Hillman can hold onto the job, but the Broncos clearly drafted him with the intention of being the replacement for McGahee in the future.

Fantasy owners with Andre Johnson were waiting for an explosive game from the veteran and they finally got it against the Jaguars. Johnson put the game away with a 48-yard touchdown to seal the game in over time helping him finish with 14 receptions for 273 yards and the big score.

With top corner back Jonathan Joseph questionable for this week, the Lions will have respectable odds of forcing the Texans into another high-scoring game on Thanksgiving. Look to Johnson as a must start WR1 going forward.

Oakland Raiders head coach Dennis Allen said WR Denarius Moore's (hamstring) hamstring injury from training camp is still a factor.

Raiders WR Denarius Moore finished with just 1 catch for 9 yards on 7 targets against the Saints on Sunday.  QB Carson Palmer blamed the dud on miscommunication.  "He's our go-to guy. He's our number one receiver, he's got a lot of plays (in the playbook) for him, and we haven't had a ton of time to be on task, and that's why some of the miscommunication things come up," Palmer said. Brandon Myers - Raiders' should have TE Myers Sunday

Oakland Raiders TE Brandon Myers (shoulder, concussion) fully participated in practice Friday, Nov. 16, and is listed as probable for Week 11.
Huddle Up: Myers cleared his concussion test Thursday and followed that up with a full practice Friday. He trails WR Denarius Moore in the Raiders' target rankings (68-57) but is pacing the team with 44 receptions.
