The Raiders continued the 4th-round QB run by selecting Tyler Wilson with the 112th overall pick. A tough, aggressive QB with plenty of arm strength, Wilson is one of our favorites in this year's class. And Oakland is an intriguing landing spot. Matt Flynn figures to get the first crack at the starting job, but he remains a major question mark. We wouldn't be shocked to see Wilson get some playing time in 2013. And he'd have some intriguing weapons to work with in Denarius Moore, Rod Streater and Jacoby Ford.

The Raiders' wide receivers are wide open but not exactly in a good way. Behind
Denarius Moore, there is a lot of room for someone to step in and claim the second starting job out wide. Someone like Rod Streater.
Streater caught 39 passes for 584 yards last season, and head coach Dennis Allen likes what he has in the 2012 undrafted rookie.
quot;I want to see him start where he left off, but I want to see continued improvement," Allen said about Streater via ESPN.com. "I think the guy's got good talent. I think he's a good route-runner. Raiders WR Rod Streater turned in an impressive rookie campaign, hauling in 39 balls for 584 yards and 3 TDs. He was particularly productive down the stretch, with 18 grabs, 351 yards and a score in his final 5 outings. Streater was 28th among WRs in fantasy scoring over that span. “I want to see him start where he left off, but I want to see continued improvement,” HC Dennis Allen said of the former undrafted free agent. “I think the guy's got talent. Just as Michael Crabtree is breaking out, the wide receiver who was stupidly drafted in front of him in 2009 is moving on. The Raiders cut Darrius Heyward-Bey on Tuesday, a move that will save the franchise $5.43 million. Heyward-Bey had his best season to date in 2011, catching 64 passes for 975 yards. But he never became the game-changing wide receiver the Raiders envisioned him being when they took him with the seventh overall pick. Crabtree, who was widely considered to be the best wideout in that year's draft, was chosen by the 49ers three picks later. FANTASY ANALYSIS: DHB was drafted because the Raiders (Al Davis, more so) are seriously addicted to people that can run fast. Heyward-Bey still has that ability, but he's a one-trick

ESPN's Chris Mortensen hears that the Raiders are considering West Virginia QB Geno Smith with the 3rd overall pick of April's draft. "Now I can't get this confirmed by the team, but Smith is a guy that not everybody sees as a top-10 pick right now, but he's got a chance to go in the top 10," Mort said. "And if the Raiders do like him, you better take him at #3." While QB isn't Oakland's biggest need, it's certainly not a spot they're set at either. Carson Palmer is a 33-year-old who's tossed 35 TDs vs. 30 INTs over the past 2 seasons. He's due a whopping $13 million in 2013. Terrelle Pryor is intriguing, but he remains a major project. There's still a better chance he busts than succeeds. If the Raiders opted for Smith at

The Oakland Raiders could look to sign a veteran wide receiver in the offseason that can be a dependable option for QB Carson Palmer in the passing game. The Raiders have not had a 1,000-yard wideout since 2005.
Huddle Up: There's no denying the Raiders have a need at the position after getting by with the likes of young, cookie-cutter wideouts Darrius Heyward-Bey, Denarius Moore, Rod Streater etc., but it's doubtful the team will have the necessary cap space to make a lure a big free-agent fish.

The former 7th overall pick has yet to record a 1,000-yard season. And he's totaled just 11 TDs. Oakland might be better off moving forward with Denarius Moore, Juron Criner, and Rod Streater as their top 3 WRs.

For the first-time Crabtree actually played in a preseason game this August, and thankfully his foot ailments appear to be a thing of the past.
The best thing that ever happened for Crabtree was Alex Smith’s demotion in the middle of the season. It’s not that Crabtree and Smith weren’t having success together, but more that Colin Kaepernick has the

Finally! Dynasty owners like myself with David Wilson on their bench have been waiting for the ultra talented rookie to receive an opportunity to show case what he can do. Earlier in the season he had a long touchdown run against the Browns, but because of early fumbling issues and pass protection concerns, Andre Brown moved past Wilson on the depth chart.
Brown was placed on injured reserve a few weeks back and the Giants countered with Craig Lumpkin as added depth. Lumpkin saw a few snaps against the Redskins, but the Giants decided to use Ahmad Bradshaw as the teams feature back again as a counter to the Brown’s injury, rather than working Wilson in as a

Among Murray's 21 rushing attempts Sunday, his longest gain was seven yards, although in fairness the Bengals are actually the best team in the NFL at limiting long runs, as they've allowed just five carries for 20+ yards and zero for 40+ on the year…BenJarvus Green-Ellis had one carry that went at least 30 yards during his career entering Week 12. Alexander has done a terrific job in the short passing game, crossing routes and big plays down the field. Those of you that watched the Chargers play the Steelers on Sunday also know he has terrific balance and body control when going up in the air on 50/50 balls against a defender. It’s hard to like Dez Bryant as a person but when it comes to talent, we’ve known for some time he has the ability to be an elite option at the receiver position. The question was, would Bryant ever figure out what it takes to play at a Pro Bowl level in the NFL?
In his third season Bryant was having an up and down campaign, until the last four weeks. In that time Bryant has posted 29 receptions for 475-yards and six touchdowns. Two of those games came against the Eagles and in the second game Bryant abused the Eagles secondary after the catch, physically running over and past them for two impressive scores.

Aaron Hernandez barely finished inside the top-10 at his position in Week 13 fantasy scoring, and he failed to visit the end zone. Thus, I won't try to convince you that he carried anyone into the fantasy playoffs, single-handedly. In fact, Hernandez had a somewhat sloppy day, with an ugly drop on the Patriots' opening series, plus another near-catch that skipped off his outstretched hands (and, if caught, would have resulted in a touchdown). Player A — 7.1 Y/A, 17 TDs, 16 INTs, 54.4% comp, 216 rush
Player B — 7.4 Y/A, 19 TDs, 8 INTs, 63.4% comp, 298 rush

However, that's the way many still perceive the relative worth of Andrew Luck (Player A) and Russell Wilson (Player B).
Of course you might also argue that we can't reasonably evaluate QBs based on a few cherry-picked stats, omitting team context and win-loss record — and you'd be right. I'm not all that interested in making

Oakland Raiders QB Carson Palmer has targeted WR
Denarius Moore 25 times in their last three games and completed only nine of those passes for 165 yards and one touchdown. In Week 11, Palmer was just 1-for-7 for nine yards throwing to his top wideout.
Moore often will cut outside while Palmer is throwing inside; however, head coach Dennis Allen doesn't think their chemistry is getting worse. 'Obviously, there's been a couple situations where they haven't been exactly on the same page, but again, I feel like that's part of the process. We're continuing to work every day to make sure we are on the same page,' Allen said.

Raiders WR Denarius Moore was limited on Wednesday with a hamstring issue. But he was removed from the injury report the rest of the week. He's good to go for Sunday's game against the Bengals. Moore figures to draw top CB Leon Hall in coverage, but he can still be used as a low-end WR2 in fantasy.

With Willis McGahee done for the remainder of the regular season, rookie Ronnie Hillman will receive the opportunity many fantasy owners have been waiting for since he was drafted in the spring. Hillman worked his way into the prime backup job to McGahee over a month ago, now he has the starting job but expect Lance Ball and Knowshon Moreno to see some time on the field this week.
Only time will tell if Hillman can hold onto the job, but the Broncos clearly drafted him with the intention of being the replacement for McGahee in the future.
In a friendly matchup against the Chiefs, my hope is that Broncos are going to look at this game and the rest of the season as

Raiders WR Denarius Moore was limited on Wednesday with a hamstring. He's had chronic hammy problems, so the situation is worth monitoring. But the fact that he got in some work means he should be fine for Sunday's game against the Bengals. HC Dennis Allen confirmed that "it's not a big issue."

As the biggest favorites in a game so far this season, it was more than a little surprising to see the Texans down 34-20 in the fourth quarter to a Jaguars team that has won once this year. I would say it was even crazier since the underdog lost its starting quarterback early on, but it's Blaine Gabbert, and Chad Henne impressed…Rashad Jennings has obviously been a huge disappointment since taking over for Maurice Jones-Drew, but there were plenty of fantasy owners still counting on at least some production in deep leagues, so a heads up about his benching sure would have been nice. "Winning" the FAAB bid on Jennings has proven to be anything but…Go ahead

Fantasy owners with Andre Johnson were waiting for an explosive game from the veteran and they finally got it against the Jaguars. Johnson put the game away with a 48-yard touchdown to seal the game in over time helping him finish with 14 receptions for 273 yards and the big score.
With top corner back Jonathan Joseph questionable for this week, the Lions will have respectable odds of forcing the Texans into another high-scoring game on Thanksgiving. Look to Johnson as a must start WR1 going forward.

Raiders WR Denarius Moore finished with just 1 catch for 9 yards on 7 targets against the Saints on Sunday. QB Carson Palmer blamed the dud on miscommunication. "He's our go-to guy. He's our number one receiver, he's got a lot of plays (in the playbook) for him, and we haven't had a ton of time to be on task, and that's why some of the miscommunication things come up," Palmer said. "He's a second-year guy, and I need to do a better job of getting on the same page with him -- see things the way he sees them." Prior to Week 11, Palmer and Moore had hooked up on 52% of their attempts. It was also Moore's first game this season with fewer than 3 catches. Consider Sunday's game an abberation and continue to start Moore as a

Oakland Raiders TE Brandon Myers (shoulder, concussion) fully participated in practice Friday, Nov. 16, and is listed as probable for Week 11.
Huddle Up: Myers cleared his concussion test Thursday and followed that up with a full practice Friday. He trails WR Denarius Moore in the Raiders' target rankings (68-57) but is pacing the team with 44 receptions.
