The Raiders continued the 4th-round QB run by selecting Tyler Wilson with the 112th overall pick. A tough, aggressive QB with plenty of arm strength, Wilson is one of our favorites in this year's class. And Oakland is an intriguing landing spot. Matt Flynn figures to get the first crack at the starting job, but he remains a major question mark. We wouldn't be shocked to see Wilson get some playing time in 2013. And he'd have some intriguing weapons to work with in Denarius Moore, Rod Streater and Jacoby Ford.

Jacoby Ford back to 100%

Raiders WR Jacoby Ford says his injured foot is back to 100% and that he's ready for the upcoming minicamp, according to Steve Corkran of the Contra Costa Times. Ford looked like a fantasy riser after an impressive finish to his 2010 rookie campaign. But injuries mangled his 2nd season, and then he missed all of 2012 with a Lisfranc injury to his left foot. Ford's speed will raise his ceiling if he can prove it's still there. But he now also has other WRs in front of him on the depth chart. Ford merits watching but won't be worth a pick in your fantasy football draft.

Just as Michael Crabtree is breaking out, the wide receiver who was stupidly drafted in front of him in 2009 is moving on. The Raiders cut Darrius Heyward-Bey on Tuesday, a move that will save the franchise $5.43 million. Heyward-Bey had his best season to date in 2011, catching 64 passes for 975 yards. But he never became the game-changing wide receiver the Raiders envisioned him being when they took him with the seventh overall pick. Crabtree, who was widely considered to be the best wideout in that year's draft, was chosen by the 49ers three picks later. FANTASY ANALYSIS: DHB was drafted because the Raiders (Al Davis, more so) are seriously addicted to people that can run fast. Heyward-Bey still has that ability, but he's a one-trick

Speedy WR missed entire 2012 campaignIt might not seem like much, but Raiders receiver
Jacoby Ford put on cleats last week for the first time since August. "I was extremely excited,"
Ford said. "Extremely."
Ford missed all of last season when a sprained foot turned out to be a much more serious Lisfranc injury and he needed surgery in September. The same injury caused the fourth-year receiver to miss eight games in 2011.
Ford is ahead of schedule in his rehabilitation and will "definitely" be back for training camp, he said. "It's not quite 100 percent, but it's coming along really well,"

Ford had the same injury in 2011 too. "It's not quite 100 percent, but it's coming along really well," he said recently. "I am back to running routes and feel pretty good about my straight-ahead full speed. And I have been cutting on it." Raiders HC Dennis Allen says WR Jacoby Ford will have surgery on his injured left foot. The rookie HC noted that his WR will miss a “significant” amount of time. Ford missed 6 of the last 7 games with a foot injury last season. And while Oakland believed rest would cure Ford’s ailment this year, that apparently wasn’t the case. This move keeps the upstart Rod Streater relevant in fantasy even with Denarius Moore close to returning. Ford isn’t worth owning in 12-team leagues.
