Jacksonville Jaguars #2 – Eric Fisher – OT – Central MichigamIf any QB in Jacksonville is going to have success, he’s going to need a little bit of protection. Not a flashy pick, but a effective one. In other news, I’m digging their new unis.

It's Week 17 and ... you're still playing for a championship? Wait, why? Haven't you learned your lesson by now? Week 17 always throws all kinds of wrenches into your fantasy team's best laid plans. That has been shown clearly this morning with the news that the Ravens are expected to hold Ray Rice out of today's game versus the Bengals. I'll be here all morning long giving you the latest updates on the actives and inactives in today's early games, keeping an eye on Roddy White, Chris Johnson, Hakeem Nicks and Johnathan Stewart. But next year, make sure your league finishes up by Week 16.
Players already ruled out for Week 17 include Trent Richardson, Brandon Weeden, Mike Wallace, Heath Miller, Nick Foles, Carson Palmer, Pierre Thomas and

The Steelers will be without wide receiver Mike Wallace this Sunday against the Browns. The explosive deep threat didn't practice all week because of a strained hip and was officially ruled out on Friday. Antonio Brown and Emmanuel Sanders will be Pittsburgh's top two wideouts in the season finale. FANTASY ANALYSIS: In missing the first game of his career, Wallace may have very well played his final game as a Steeler. He is a free agent after the season, and beat writers believe he will be looking for more money than the team is willing to give him. For Week 17, Brown is a very nice play as he has scored in three straight games and has seen his yardage totals climb of late. One worry is that he will see a lot of

As the biggest favorites in a game so far this season, it was more than a little surprising to see the Texans down 34-20 in the fourth quarter to a Jaguars team that has won once this year. I would say it was even crazier since the underdog lost its starting quarterback early on, but it's Blaine Gabbert, and Chad Henne impressed…Rashad Jennings has obviously been a huge disappointment since taking over for Maurice Jones-Drew, but there were plenty of fantasy owners still counting on at least some production in deep leagues, so a heads up about his benching sure would have been nice. Browns CB Joe Haden will miss today's clash with Dallas because of an oblique injury. That leaves Sheldon Brown and Buster Skrine as the starters. Both are upside plays against a Cowboys offense that likes to throw to its outside WRs. Tony Romo gets at least a slight bump with the absence of the Browns' best cover man. On the plus side, Cleveland will have DT Ahtyba Rubin. He had been questionable with his nagging calf injury. He carries significant upside against a weak Dallas interior O-line.

It was a case of the Good, Bad and the Ugly for the Cowboys offense on Sunday or perhaps I should say Ugly, Good then Bad. Through the first quarter and a half of the game, Dallas looked dysfunctional on offense as Dez Bryant and Kevin Ogletree had route running issues, Romo threw three interceptions, one going for a thank you very much touchdown by Jason Pierre-Paul, as Romo threw it right in his hands.
Down 23 to nothing, Dallas finally got things together and marched down the field for a Felix Jones touchdown and another big play by Bryant set up a field goal.

Unfortunately, the Chargers offense puts the defense in difficult situations because of turnovers or in the case of last week, ineffective play. What makes this option more of a gamble playing against a division foe.
No matter the struggles in Kansas City, they know the Chargers very well and we should expect them to run Jamaal Charles up to 25 times after only running him five time on Sunday.

Although the Dolphins escaped with a 17-14 victory over the Rams on Sunday, it was far from an artistic success. Miami won the ballgame despite a puny 12 first downs, and the Rams found a way to lose despite a 462-192 edge in total yards. St. Louis collected 6.7 yards per play, the Dolphins just 3.9.
And Brian Hartline, you ask? He didn't have much to do with Miami's victory, either.
Two weeks ago, it was Turn On Your Hartline as the Dolphins wideout went ballistic in Arizona. Sunday, it was Turn Off Your Hartline. Miami's No. 1 wideout went without a catch and without an official target for the afternoon. Oh, there was one pass aimed his way - it turned into a pass interference call - but otherwise

Hopefully you had a chance to watch last Thursday nights game as the Cardinals faced off against the Rams. Larry Fitzgerald had eight catches in that game and sadly he could’ve had more. Arizona doesn’t seem to trust Kevin Kolb much with audibles because he clearly missed a one on one matchup against rookie corner Janoris Jenkins, and Fitzgerald schooled him for an easy touchdown.
Problem was, Kolb never looked Fitzgerald way, opting to go to the other side of the field, for reasons which I can only assume were based on him going to the spot the play call was designed to go.
Long gone are the days of Kurt Warner and while fantasy owners will miss out on

Joe Haden returns from his suspension in Week 6, and he is looking forward to lining up against Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green. Haden's suspension began in Week 2, when the Browns played the Bengals in Cincinnati. Green had seven catches for 58 yards and a touchdown; however, Haden's absence had a domino effect on the secondary that resulted in three touchdown passes for QB Andy Dalton. Green had big plays in both games against the Browns last season, and
Haden is looking for payback. "I definitely feel like (I owe him one),"
Haden said. "I honestly put him with the top--no, at the top--of the receivers I've played against. Because he does a little bit of everything. I've played against Larry Fitzgerald, Andre

Fantasy is a speculative game. Predict the future, and you look like a genius. Don't, and you're painfully human. Gazing into the crystal ball here's our view on 10 intriguing over/unders for Week 6.
Vick Ballard, now starting against the Jets with Donald Brown sidelined, final Week 6 RB rank 22.5 (In other words, will he deliver RB2-level stats in 12-team leagues)?
Brad — UNDER. The once proud Jets defense is a shell of its former self. This season, the Puddle Jumpers have surrendered 4.7 YPC to RBs. Ballard will give way to Mewelde Moore on third-downs but is a strong candidate for a 17-75-1 afternoon.
Brandon — UNDER. Meaning he'll be a top 22 RB in Week 6.
