Scott – OVER. He's not getting benched and I saw signs of life last weekend. Fantasy owners have to hold, anyway - you can't move Castro at a gigantic loss.
Brad – UNDER. Growing pains are bound to happen for just about any top prospect. His upchuck-worthy ISO (.094) and HR/FB rate don't lend much hope for another 6-8 homers. Exuding more impatience at the dish and making less contact, his stolen bases will continue to suffer too. An additional 15 or so HRs/SBs are in the cards.
Andy – OVER. Just give it a minute. You guys

When last we saw Jays shortstop Jose Reyes, he was being carted off the field in Kansas City, his left ankle heavily bandaged. He'd rolled his foot badly on an attempted steal, sliding awkwardly into second base. It was a nasty injury (clip here), obviously serious, and Reyes soon hit the 60-day DL. He reportedly heard a pop, which is never a good thing.
At the time of the injury, I would not have bet on seeing Reyes back in action before the All-Star break. But he shed his walking boot in mid-May, he was cleared to run a week ago, and it

One unavoidable fact about middle infield this year: it's not deep for fantasy purposes. The fears of the preseason appear justified at the quarter pole.
The prices that follow below are how I'd attack this area (2B/SS) if redrafting right now. The games played to this point are an audition, not a ranking mandate. Expect to disagree with a lot of stuff, that's why we have a game. You know the preamble by now.
We'll use a 5x5 scoring assumption, as most reasonable people do. Don't worry about prices in a vacuum: what matters is how the players relate to one another. Assume similar-ranked commodities are equal.
I'll add comments later in the day and perhaps move a few ranks around. Share your

At the risk of tearing down the entire "fantasy expert" scam, we begin today with an admission: Occasionally, fantasy gurus get stuff wrong.
It's rare, but it happens. Back in March, it's possible that some of us led you to believe Roy Halladay was salvageable and that Adam Dunn was not terrible at baseball. We apologize for these misunderstandings.
With six weeks of MLB data in the books, it's time to reassess the player pool. We've assembled a group of 10 experts for an in-season baseball draft. The league settings are fairly standard: 5x5, mixed player pool, CI & MI, head-to-head, weekly lineups. Nothing too exotic.

It was - thankfully - a fairly light week of baseball injuries. Unless I missed something, there were no awful-luck second basemen hurt!
I mean, that's probably because all those guys are already hurt, but whatever. I'll take what I can get.

Play to this point matters as an audition, but that's it. The goal is to figure out who will play the best (and collect the juiciest stats) from this point forward, 2013-only. Pretend we're starting from scratch with a fresh draft tonight. Don't worry about the dollar value in a vacuum; they're merely used as tools to compare. And players at the same price tag are considered even.

I’m not sure what more can be said about Matt Harvey at this point, but I’ll go ahead and continue to pile on the praise. The guy has allowed six hits over 22.0 innings this season. Six! Thanks to a 0.82 ERA and a decent 0.55 WHIP, he’s been the No. 1 ranked fantasy player so far. Harvey’s control still isn’t great, as he’s walked multiple batters in all three of his outings (and he had a 3.93 BB/9 rate across Triple-A and with the Mets last year), but his stuff is among the nastiest in the league already. Harvey’s average fastball velocity (94.3 mph) has been the fourth-highest among all starters this season, while his slider (88.6 mph) has easily been the fastest (next highest is Madison

They didn't do much else, but at least they ran. This position delivered four of the game's top-13 individual stolen base totals, with Everth Cabrera's 44 steals leading the National League. Twelve different shortstops reached the 20-stolen base plateau in 2012, the most at any spot except outfield.
