McCoy has spent the past 4 seasons as OC in Denver, where he's adeptly morphed his offense to fit the personnel. His QBs have ranged from Kyle Orton to Tim Tebow to Peyton Manning. The Broncos were a top 13 passing offense in the 3 seasons with Orton and Manning. They were #1 in rushing yards in the Tebow season. Simply put, McCoy has displayed a knack for getting the most out of his offense. We like the hire for San Diego's skill-position players.

Although he led the team in receiving across the board last year, things certainly could have gone much better for Broncos receiver Eric Decker on an individual basis.
During the first four games last season, Decker had 20 receptions for 262 yards and four touchdowns. Had he maintained that pace over the course of a full season, Decker would have finished with a very respectable line of 80 receptions for 1,048 yards and a ridiculous 16 touchdowns.
Instead Decker finished the season with team highs of only 44 receptions for 612 yards and eight touchdowns.
While he was on track to have a breakout season, a quarterback switch from Kyle Orton to Tim Tebow in Week 5 completely derailed any chance of that.

For the better part of the last decade, your commissioner has ruled over the SFFL with an iron fist. Several times he's defiantly rebuked your recommendations to make the league more balanced and competitive by scoring for receptions. Why? To the creature of habit, tradition and history must be preserved to protect the integrity of the league.
College football's decision-makers are less ignorant.
From your perspective, fantasy football should evolve with on-field play. Ten years ago when the league was formed over foamy cups of Natty Light, pepperoni slices and numerous 'F' bombs at the Sigma Alpha Epsilon house in Carbondale, Ill., NFL coaches still adhered to classic run-first, pound-often tactics. Jets | Sanchez not thinking about Tebow

Rich Cmini, from ESPN New York, reports Jets starting QB Mark Sanchez is not preoccupied with thinking about backup Tim Tebow. "I don't really think about it while we're playing. No offense to Tim, I'm not really thinking about Tim." Sanchez said. "Whether we have Matt Simms, or (G.J.) Kinne, or (Greg) McElroy, or if it happens to be Tim Tebow behind me, that's fine. It doesn't matter. I'm playing hard and trying to get this thing right for all of us in here."
Our View: It's OTAs and Sanchez doesn't really feel the pressure but that could change in the future. Sanchez will always outperform Tebow in practice as Tebow isn't a good practice player. However, if Sanchez struggles in a game yet Tebow can continue to make game winning plays

Before his season was derailed by a fractured foot last December, DeMarco Murray was one of fantasy football's rising stars. Incumbent Felix Jones, presumably constructed from tissue paper and held together by Scotch tape, again failed to deliver meaningful numbers due to physical setbacks, thrusting the rookie into the spotlight. Though he crossed the chalk only once in seven starts, Murray racked up an impressive 104.5 total yards per game and 5.4 yards per touch as the primary rusher, quickly developing into a reliable RB2 in 12-teamers. He also ranked ninth in yards after contact per attempt among qualified rushers, an excellent indicator of his physicality and game-breaking

Here's my top-20 ranking of fantasy football's best NFL backup quarterbacks right now, regardless of their No. 2 or 3 standing with their current teams.
In the course of compiling these rankings—which only account for statistical success—a few assumptions were proffered:
Matt Hasselbeck opens the season as Tennessee's starting quarterback. The Browns won't make any quarterback-themed trades in the next four months. Ryan Tannehill opens the season as Miami's quarterback, even if he's not ready. Kevin Kolb trumps all comers for the Arizona starting job, a byproduct of his

They were the reigning Super Bowl champions and taking the league by storm. And then
Kyle Orton and the Chiefs’ defense rattled them and suddenly they weren’t so invincible. But for a long time they seemed like they were, and for a team that is loathe to make moves in free agency, that can only [...]

Let’s start out with Eric Decker, the wide receiver for the Denver Broncos. Decker led the Broncos last season in receptions with 44, receiving yards with 612 and touchdowns with eight. And most of the games Decker played were with Tim Tebow under center—one of the most inaccurate quarterbacks of all time.
Not to mention Denver was a run-oriented team last season running the ball 57 percent of the time and only passing 43 percent including the regular season and postseason.
In fact, 20 of Eric Decker’s 44 catches, 270 of his 612 receiving yards and half of his touchdowns last season
