Oakland Raiders QBs Matt Flynn, Tyler Wilson, Terrelle Pryor and Matt McGloin didn't fare well at their minicamp Tuesday, June 11. Many of their throws were batted down at the line of scrimmage, landed behind and over receivers, and were generally off the mark. No option distinguished himself from the others. Pryor said that since defenders weren't wearing pads, they were more upright, which made it easier to bat down throws.

Wilson was the top QB for both Cecil Lammey and Matt Waldman this year. He's got a gunslinger mentality and is an aggressive passer who loves to challenge a defense vertically. We'll wait until training camp before getting too excited about him beating out Flynn for the starting job in week one. However, many feel Wilson is the QB of the future and could take over at some point during the regular season.

Since the start of 2011 Wilson threw 23 touchdowns and only four interceptions against extra pressure. However, Wilson was less effective when opponents dropped seven or more defenders into coverage. He threw eight touchdowns and 11 interceptions against standard four-man rushes in 2012. Our View: This was one of the main reasons why Wilson was the highest graded QB by both Matt Waldman and Cecil Lammey. Wilson plays without fear and is willing to challenge defenses vertically in the face of pressure. He could play as a backup this year behind Matt Flynn but Wilson's dynasty value is strong.

The Raiders continued the 4th-round QB run by selecting Tyler Wilson with the 112th overall pick.  A tough, aggressive QB with plenty of arm strength, Wilson is one of our favorites in this year's class.  And Oakland is an intriguing landing spot.  Matt Flynn figures to get the first crack at the starting job, but he remains a major question mark.  We wouldn't be shocked to see Wilson get some playing time in 2013.  And he'd have some intriguing weapons to work with in Denarius Moore, Rod Streater and Jacoby Ford.

Fox Sports' Jay Glazer reports that the Matt-Flynn-to-Oakland deal is done.  The Seahawks will receive 2 draft picks from the Raiders.  Earlier reports had them as a 2014 mid-rounder and a conditional pick in 2015.  The Raiders are now looking to trade Carson Palmer to Arizona, per Glazer.  That will leave Flynn as the favorite to start in Oakland.  While he's flashed in limited NFL action, he remains a giant question mark.  And we're not sure how he fits with a Raiders WR corps that is built to stretch the field vertically.  Flynn is more of a short- to mid-range QB with mediocre arm strength.  He'll be no better than a low-end QB2 in 2013 fantasy football drafts.
