The new assignment on the Shuffle Up clipboard is the forwards, the men who drive so much of the fantasy equation. We're looking at the basic Yahoo! scoring categories here (goals, assists, power-play points, shots on goal, plus-minus, penalty minutes) and we're trying to project how they'll play out from this point forward. Position flexibility and scarcity also counts a small amount; in theory, it's a tie-breaker between similar commodities.
What's happened to this point is merely an audition; this list is not intended to merely stand as a list of stat leaders. In every Shuffle Up, some will find the list too reactive while others will feel it's not reactive enough. Everyone has a different perspective, and I welcome

One size never fits all when it comes to fantasy pickup advice. If we go with the well-established names around the 50-percent ownership tag, we're sure to hear "long gone" refrains from the Yahoo! readers. If we go too deep with the recommendations, we're likely to hear "why would I want those scrubs on my team?"
It is what it is. Today's assignment is deep league pickups, so go ahead and throw these players under the Zamboni if that's what you do. Sometimes we're going to focus on deeper league with these columns.
Here are five possible tire-kicks in those challenging, deeper pools:
-- Nazem Kadri, C, Leafs (two-percent owned in Yahoo!): Kadri didn't do a lot in his first two go-rounds in Toronto,

Sometimes it is just a lot of fun when you break the numbers down easily. Tonight we do this for a reason as we look at the magic golfing numbers with a fantasy twist. Now please keep in mind that these numbers are as of the games before March 8th. Let's look at the Eastern Conference first.

Today we go shopping for forwards, with the normal "50 percent" rule in effect (no one owned in more than half of the Yahoo! world makes our list). We've got something for every budget, and we welcome your suggestions in the comments.
Chris Kunitz (35 percent), LW, Penguins: He's quietly tallied four goals in his last seven games, and he's getting time with Sidney Crosby in practice (look for Crosby to play with Kunitz and Pascal Dupuis when he returns,

And with the calendar turned to October, the eyes of the multi-sport rotohead now turn to … ice hockey.
A collection of 12 suspects (some the old usuals, some newcomers) gathered on Thursday for the fifth annual Yahoo! Friends & Family League draft. We laughed, we mocked, we shed blood, we broke up a fight or two. And when the smoke cleared and the horn sounded, 240 players were selected, covering various talent levels.
Draft reviews mean different things to different people. Perhaps you'll learn something from our hits and misses (and comments to that end), or maybe you'll be in the middle of a glorious nap before you finish this piece. That's up to you. We'd like to know which teams you like the most, in
