Paul Kuharsky, AFC South blogger for ESPN.com, reports Titans rookie WR Justin Hunter will play the 'Z' position for the team.
Our View: The 'Z' receiver was manned by
Nate Washington last year. We're expecting him to get traded or released sometime before training camp. Hunter is a fantastic athlete with a nice size/speed combination. He has problems with concentration at time but if focused he can dominate. Kenny Britt will play the 'X' spot, with Kendall Wright filling in at the slot.

The Titans wanted to give Jake Locker another receiver, and they didn't have to go far to find a good one. The Titans took former University of Tennessee wideout Justin Hunter with the 34th overall pick. Tennessee had to give up a second- and a seventh-round pick this year plus a 2014 third-rounder to move up six spots and select the speedy, rangy Hunter. Hunter is 6 foot 4 inches. He ran a 4.44 40-yard dash with positional bests in the vertical leap (39.5 inches) and the board jump (136 inches) at February's combine. FANTASY ANALYSIS: Hunter may not have as much upside as college teammate Cordarrelle Patterson, who was chosen by the Vikings in the first round last night. But as listed above, his physical tools are absolutely outstanding,

The Colts added depth to their receiving corps on Monday. Their fellow AFC South foes from Tennessee did the same. The Titans signed former Texans wide receiver Kevin Walter to a one-year contract. The 10-year veteran had spent the previous seven seasons in Houston. Walter hasn't surpassed 700 yards or 55 catches in a season since 2008. He caught 41 passes for 518 yards and two scores last season. FANTASY ANALYSIS: Walter was a starter for most of his time in Houston, but while he is serviceable, he is no longer starter material. He will turn 32 years old in August. He can block and bail out a quarterback on third down but little else. Even if
Nate Washington is released soon -- something that seems likely after this move -- Walter should

Tenneessee Titans rookie wide receiver Kendall Wright sustained a cracked rib Monday night. When going up for a pass in the fourth quarter, Wright took a blow to his rib cage from Jets CB Antonio Cromartie. The only rookies with 100-plus targets this season are Justin Blackmon and Wright, in what has been a successful individual season for the receiver out of Baylor. No official announcement has been made but the early reports suggest Wright would miss the Titans' final two games. FANTASY ANALYSIS:
Nate Washington would figure to see an increase in playing time if Wright is done for the season and to a lesser extent, Damian Williams. Neither player is much of a fantasy option at this stage of the game, but Kenny Britt could get a bump

Time to get in character for another week. The ranks in this exercise are not Week 10 fantasy ranks; instead, we're trying to arrange the players based on what we expect from Weeks 10-16. Assume a standard scoring format (non-PPR), and remember the golden rule: no one gains 10-20 percent of bonus value just because they're on your roster.
That established, if you logically construct a sound argument, I'm all ears. I'll add comments, and tweak a rank or two, as the night goes along. It's quarterbacks and wideouts this week; running backs and tight ends get the floor next week.

In the world of spies, they mock what they don't understand. In the world of fantasy, we want to understand, so we mock.
Truth be told, this 220-pick exercise wasn't really a mock — it's a real thing. I assembled 10 of my flatliner roto friends (industry and non-industry folks included) and we're all standing behind our teams. While we won't do any maintenance to the rosters we drafted Tuesday night, we are keeping score and we are playing for a financial stake. If you can't go full out, why go at all?
We'll use best-ball scoring to determine the winners; everyone will have their best theoretical score assigned to them after each go-round. It's a total-points grab, there are no head-to-head games. We're using the

You should know the rules of the game by now, amigos. Shuffle Up is a forward-looking piece. The ranks below are not Week 8 ranks; they're rest-of-season ranks. If I had a fresh draft starting right now, this is the blueprint for the quarterback and wide receiver position. Next week (and all odd-numbered weeks), I'll rank the running backs and tight ends.

The Packers second year receiver Randall Cobb only has 35 targets on the season but has converted those targets into 29 receptions for 346 yards and a score. What I like about Cobb’s role in the offense is that even when Greg Jennings does come back, it shouldn’t affect him.
Despite his lack of rushing attempts in recent weeks, Cobb is always a threat to help you on the ground, but his real problem is finding the end zone. Other options like James Jones and Jordy Nelson are ideal targets in the red zone, while Cobb will have to find most of his scores via catch and run opportunities, running underneath routes.
This hurts his value in standard leagues but

Hopefully you had a chance to watch last Thursday nights game as the Cardinals faced off against the Rams. Larry Fitzgerald had eight catches in that game and sadly he could’ve had more. Arizona doesn’t seem to trust Kevin Kolb much with audibles because he clearly missed a one on one matchup against rookie corner Janoris Jenkins, and Fitzgerald schooled him for an easy touchdown.
Problem was, Kolb never looked Fitzgerald way, opting to go to the other side of the field, for reasons which I can only assume were based on him going to the spot the play call was designed to go.

How much faith should we have in Dwayne Bowe is Matt Cassel is out for a stretch and Brady Quinn is starting? History tells us, not much, as Bowe struggled to find the end zone with Cassel down last year while Quinn has yet to show much in his career, and likely never will.
Not that the Chiefs had much of a vertical attack with Cassel starting, but with Quinn we should anticipate a dink and dunk offense, as the safety suck up and focus on the short to intermediate routes and the running game.

Week 5 is critical. We've gone through a month, and we have a pretty decent handle on what to expect from players and their opposing defenses. The handle is never that strong because unpredictability still reigns in general, but everyone has a somewhat focused idea of what to expect by now.

Usually it seems to take a few years before defenses start to roll coverage over to a younger receiver, rather than an established All Pro receiver on the other side. With this in mind, it only made sense to consider Julio Jones as the better fantasy option in Atlanta.
While Roddy White has been one of the better receivers in the game over recent years, teams view him as more of a possession receiver rather than a vertical threat. Because of this, it only makes sense that teams would look to give Jones extra attention as a vertical threat and that seems to be what’s going on through the first month.

Chemistry is the word that comes to mind when I think of the reason for Wallace’s early-season success as Ben Roethlisberger has faith that his third-year receiver will come down with the football, down the field. The Eagles have some good corners but both Wallace and Antonio Brown should come away with at least WR2 numbers.

FF Today's Take: Locker took a huge shot in the first quarter from Texans DB Glover Quin in the first quarter and laid on the ground for a short while in a great deal of pain.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that Titans WR Kenny Britt (ankle) will not play against the Texans today. That twisted ankle turned out to be worse than initially thought. Nate Washington and Kendall Wright will start outside for Tennessee today, but both guys are low-end WR3s in a tough matchup.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Titans wide receiver Kenny Britt is out for today's game versus the Texans. Britt missed Friday's practice, closing out a full week of no practice. Britt is still hoping to play, but he didn't sound too confident Friday.
quot;I am not going to lie -- it is still nagging me a little bit," Britt said about his injured ankle. "And I am not going to go out there if I am not feeling confident and if I can't give my 100 percent effort."
FANTASY ANALYSIS: Looks like Britt will be a game-time decision. I would try to stay away from him if
