Bills beat writer Jay Skurski says rookie Robert Woods is "penciled in" as the team's #2 WR. We'd expect that to change to ink by mid-August. Woods was widely regarded as one of the most NFL-ready WRs in the rookie class. He started all 38 career games at USC, setting a school record with 252 catches. His competition for a starting job in Buffalo will come from the undersized T.J. Graham and Marquise Goodwin -- plus undrafted free agent Da'Rick Rogers. Rogers could be a threat long term but has a ways to go. Expect Woods to be in Buffalo's Week 1 starting lineup. We'd keep fantasy expectations in check, though. Stevie Johnson remains the clear-cut #1 WR. And the Bills passing game figures to struggle in a new offense

T.J. Graham is doing well with the extra reps he is receiving during organized team activities. 'T.J. is doing really good,' said Kolb. 'He's working hard, taking it serious. Obviously with the receiving corps it's a competitive group now. I think everybody can go out there and make plays. T.J. is another special talent with his speed.'
Graham has received extra reps because WRs Stevie Johnson (back) and rookies Robert Woods and Marquise Goodwin are not participating.
Huddle Up: Graham, the Bills' 3rd-round pick a year ago who finished the season with 31 grabs for 322 yards and a TD, figures to battle Woods for the No. 2 WR job opposite Johnson.

Second-year WR
T.J. Graham has been making plays during the Bills recent minicamp. He's getting more reps as Stevie Johnson continues to miss workouts with a strained back. I think everybody can go out there and make plays. T.J. is another special talent with his speed."
Our View:
Graham has the downfield speed and ball tracking ability to be a good deep threat. The position became more cramped when the Bills added both Robert Woods (USC) and Marquise Goodwin (Texas) in the 2013 NFL draft. They even added the talented Da'Rick Rogers as an undrafted free agent.

Did you know that
T.J. Graham is listed as the Bills' No. 2 wide receiver right now? As a rookie last season,
Graham caught 31 passes for 322 yards and one touchdown in 15 games. But with new head coach Doug Marrone and offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett bringing in an up-tempo offense, the slight-but-speedy
Graham has a quot;golden opportunity" to break out in 2013, according to the Bills' official website, which also called this new scheme "seemingly tailor-made" for Graham's skill set.
FANTASY ANALYSIS: Yes,
Graham is fast. If nothing else, he has speed.. But obviously, we need to pump the breaks on any sort of hype that begins to build around him. For one, it has been reported that young wide receivers put up good numbers most

T.J. Graham's development has been slow this year, and he started his first game in Week 14. 'I think Stevie's a guy that you can play him in the slot or you can play him outside. But just the whole thing leading up to it,' Johnson said, noting that he, WR Donald Jones and TE Scott Chandler were more familiar at running the route. 'We had people in positions where maybe they shouldn't have been. So who knows what would've happened if it was Donald, me or Scott there. So it's no blame on T.J. at

Bills WR David Nelson has been diagnosed with a torn ACL and is done for the season. It's a significant loss for the Bills. Nelson was the team's slot receiver in their spread attack and reeled in 61 balls last year. He'll likely be replaced by speedy-but-raw rookie WR T.J. Graham. WR Donald Jones also figures to see more time in the slot now. Stevie Johnson remains the only Buffalo WR worth starting on a weekly basis. It's been a rough couple days for QB Ryan Fitzpatrick. He tossed 3 INTs against the Jets on Sunday and will now be without one of his most-reliable receivers.

You know what it means when an athlete tears an ACL; they are gone for the season. That's the case today with Bills wide receiver David Nelson, who injured his knee during the fourth quarter of Sunday's loss to the Jets. He caught two passes for 31 yards in the blowout.
Nelson recorded 61 receptions for 658 yards and five touchdowns last season. Donald Jones and third-round rookie
T.J. Graham are the next men up on the depth chart, and one of them will replace Nelson in the slot. However, considering how brutal quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick looked

The Bills plan on using a committee at #2 WR. “We're going to play a lot of guys,” HC Chan Gailey said. Stevie Johnson is the clear-cut #1 WR, and David Nelson is locked-in as the slot receiver. That leaves Donald Jones, Derek Hagan, and rookie T.J. Graham to split the rest of the snaps. Buffalo will use plenty of 4 and 5-WR sets this season, so all 3 guys will see the field. But none are likely to see enough targets to be consistent fantasy options.
