Michael Crabtree is gone until late Novemeber at the very least, so who is going to pick up the slack? 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh will find his guy among those three mentioned in the title.
quot; We'll put [A.J.] Jenkins, [Quinton] Patton, Ricardo Lockette at the same position and let them compete and emerge," Harbaugh said in a Friday radio interview. "The good news is somebody will emerge because they have to." FANTASY ANALYSIS: Myself and host Ben Standig talked about the Niners' offense in this sans-Crabtree period during Wednesday's podcast. We didn't mention Lockette, who is more of an athlete than a football player right now. Jenkins is coming off a rookie season in which he barely played, and Patton reportedly looked very raw

Tony Romo (back) said he will be ready for training camp in July after having minor surgery to remove a cyst on his back that will keep him out of organized team activities for the next three weeks. 'If this was the regular season and I had to play next week, I could,'
Romo said. 'This is just about being smart. That's why I did it now. This will have no effect on training camp. No way will it have an impact. And I still think there's a good chance I'm on the field for minicamp.' The team does not fear that this will be a long-term injury, but they'll be cautious with him.
Romo said the cyst was causing a constant ache in his back. QB Kyle Orton will work with the first-team offense with
Romo out.

Cowboys QB Tony Romo underwent surgery last month to remove a cyst on his back. ESPN’s Adam Schefter says it “could” keep him out until training camp, but Romo believes he’ll be ready for June minicamp. He’s already been cleared to resume throwing. “If this was the regular season and I had to play next week, I could,” he said. “This is just about being smart. That’s why I did it now. This will have no effect on training camp. No way will it have an impact. And I still think there’s a good chance I’m on the field for mini-camp.” There’s cause for concern any time a back is involved, but this sounds like it was a truly minor procedure. And Romo, a 7-year starter, doesn’t need the practice time this spring.

DeAndre Hopkins HOU (1st RD) -
While Cordarrelle Patterson may have the best upside from a raw skills perspective in this years class, it is Deandre Hopkins that is No.1 on my board. In Hopkins you have the most polished receiver in this class and he should be a slam dunk, week one starter opposite Andre Johnson.
At worst case Hopkins will be a bye week starting option in his rookie year and at best case he’s probably a weekly WR3 play. By next year we should see his floor at WR3, and his upside could blossom as far as a WR1 in PPR leagues, if the injury bug jumps up and bits Johnson again.

The Cowboys and QB Tony Romo have agreed to a 6-year, $108 million contract extension. He'll receive $55 million guaranteed -- 2nd most in NFL history behind only Tom Brady. The deal keeps Romo in Dallas through the 2019 season, when he'll be 39. Say what you want about his performance in big spots, but Romo has been one of the best QBs in the game over the past 6 years. He ranks among the top 10 in passing yards, TDs and completion percentage during that span. He's also finished as a top 10 fantasy QB in each of his last 5 healthy seasons. With Dez Bryant, Miles Austin and Jason Witten all back, Romo should be in that mix again in 2013.
