It appears the Kansas City Chiefs are not going to make a push for fullback Vonta Leach unless the team can come up with some cap room.
The Chiefs only have about $3.5 million in salary-cap room and they must sign No. 1 overall pick Eric Fisher. They are also going to visit with linebacker Desmond Bishop on Thursday.
Never say never on Leach ending up in Kansas City, but some things have to happen. Leach appears to be a luxury the Chiefs currently can’t afford.

Let’s face it: The AFC West has not been a great division the past five years.
It is the only division in the NFL during that time span not to send a team to the Super Bowl and no team has even qualified for the AFC championship game.
Are better times ahead? Well, I kind of think so, but not everyone does. In an Insider piece, a group of experts offer the NFL future Power Rankings for 2016. It is based on several facets.
According to the experts, not much is expected from the AFC West.

Randy Richards was probably one of the most impressive offensive lineman in Division 2, but he didn’t get the love he deserved. After crushing his competition at the JUCO level, Randy committed to play football for Missouri State. At Missouri State, Richards was a very promising player, earning tons of awards and accolades. Randy stands at 6’4 and weighs 310 pounds, and could be a guy that lands on the Chargers 53 man roster. Randy is very athletic and reminds me a lot of Mike Harris who landed on the roster last year as a UDFA. Richards could be a guy that adds depth, because of his versatility he can play four positions on the line. Check out our interview with Randy:

According to U-T San Diego, Ryan Mathews, running back of the San Diego Chargers, has recently been victim to vocal abuse via Twitter. It is not uncommon for people to be negative on Twitter, but the Tweets Mathews has been receiving go as far as to wish death upon him and his mother. Obviously, this abuse is completely uncalled for, as well as a total misrepresentation of most Charger fans. But even Mathews knows why people have been frustrated with is professional career in Southern California.
Ryan Mathews was drafted 12th overall by the San Diego Chargers in 2010. In is first two seasons he averaged 4.7 yards per carry and totaled 13 touchdowns. These numbers aren’t terrible, but they are incredibly average. One way two show Mathews’ disappointment can be with a comparison to C.J. Spiller of the Buffalo Bills.
