Who is the best draft pick the Titans have ever made? This is really a tough discussion to quantify because every person is going to have a different criteria. In my opinion, you have to factor in where they were picked. A first round guy should produce, but when you find a Pro Bowl guy in the sixth round, that is really something.

All of that is my way of explaining why I think Cortland Finnegan is the Titans best draft pick ever. He ended up being an elite corner, and they took him five full rounds after the #6 overall pick, he who shall not be named, that was supposed to be the elite

Titans host two offensive linemen

The Titans hosted a couple of free agents on Monday: tackle Winston Justice and guard Antoine Caldwell.

The 6-foot-5, 300-pound Justice, 28, played in 12 games for the Colts last season after spending five seasons with the Eagles, who picked him in the second round of the 2006 draft.

Caldwell, 27, was a third-round pick of the Texans in 2009 out of Alabama. The 6-3, 307-pounder played in 39 games for Houston, including 11 games (with six starts) last season.

NFL discussing moving draft to May

I would hate this. It already seems like an eternity from the end of the season to the draft- adding two or three weeks to that might make me lose my mind. The NFL is trying to become a year round league, but I am not sure that any of us can take an extra few weeks of sorting through mock drafts (of course it would help if the Titans would make the playoffs).

There is also talk that free agency would start before the NFL combine if they move the draft back. That would be interesting because right now the combine is where executives from NFL teams go to tamper with potential free agents.

The Titans offensive line better be really good this season. The Titans have invested A LOT in the offensive line this offseason in terms of money and draft picks. Add to that the fact that the head coach and the offensive line coach are both Hall of Fame offensive lineman, and you have a situation where there really is no choice but to succeed.

1) I was surprised that Moise Fokou was able to keep his alleged DUI quiet for so long. So the draft is done. Undrafted free agents have been added. Most of the free-agent signings are done, and team rosters are coming together.

Minus a few stragglers in free agency and cuts, teams are getting close to getting in shape for the season.

With my recent opinion article on Jake Locker's growth and development being key to the Titans' success in 2013, I'm now taking this opportunity to review what the offensive schemes might look like for Locker and company going forward into this season.

The changes around Baptist Sports Park have been obvious since last year. Gone is the status-quo feeling of the Titans' offseason and free-agency routine. According to The Washingtonian, Titans linebacker Moises Foku was arrested for driving under the influence alcohol back in Janurary.  He has pleaded not guilty to the charges. A United States Park Police officer arrested the 27-year-old Fokou around 3 AM on a Friday in January. The officer pulled Fokou over after witnessing Fokou drive his BMW at a high rate of speed and across the solid double yellow lines on 14th Street near McPherson Square, the arresting officer said in a sworn statement.   “As I was speaking with [Fokou] I detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage,” the arresting officer said in the statement. “His eyes were bloodshot and watery while his speech was slurred.”   Fokou told the officer that “he had a few drinks” at a DC nightclub, and claimed his BMW “just takes off sometimes,” said the officer.   After administering a field sobriety test on Fokou, the officer placed Fokou under arrest. Fokou was taken to a Park Police station; he declined to take a breath ...
