With high expectations for the Atlanta Falcons in 2013 after a 13-3 campaign in 2012, the Falcons were expected to exceed their previous playoff run. That’s exactly what didn’t happen for the Falcons, instead the NFL exposed all their weaknesses, they were hit with injuries and they went from contenders to just pretenders. With a 4-12 campaign in 2013, the Falcons realized they had a lot to fix. Toughness being PRIORITY #1!
In the offseason the team underwent a “Toughness Campaign” as the Falcons added some of the biggest and baddest names on offense and defense in hopes to take back the line of scrimmage.
The Falcons also fired offensive line coaches Pat Hill and Paul Dunn and defensive line coach Ray Hamilton. Deciding it is time to set out to “rectify with a vengeance” all the issues that led to the horrible season known as the 2013 campaign.
