As the weeks pass bye, more and more possibilities are emerging as free agency nears. One thing is for sure, Atlanta will be active. The question still remains, who will Atlanta covet? Two weeks ago, I brought up a few possibilities, this week, I will continue my analysis into the Falcons’ Free Agency Big Board.
#1 Branden Albert (Chiefs)
This left tackle was previously franchised tagged. His team recently drafted their future tackle in Eric Fisher, so the Chiefs may not be too keen to pay Albert the salary he is due. Without a doubt, he has been a solid left tackle, and Atlanta is in the market to pay big money for a sure fire blind side protector. The rumor mill has highlighted Fisher moving to left tackle due to the fact that you do not draft a lineman that high to play right tackle… Albert will test free agency in the offseason. He is 29, and is rumored to be looking for anywhere north of $9 million per season. Atlanta fans, is it worth it to you to pay a left tackle that much money per season?
