BALTIMORE (AP) — The New York Yankees are prepared to play a second straight game without third baseman Alex Rodriguez and shortstop Derek Jeter, both of whom are nursing injuries.
Rodriguez returned to New York on Monday to have an MRI exam on his sore left thumb and planned to join the team in Boston on Tuesday.
