ACC likely to soon see standings separation (AP)

If those preseason experts were to be believed, the Atlantic Coast Conference was supposed to be a two-team race between Virginia Tech and Florida State. That still may happen. But as of now, both are currently in fourth place in their respective six-team divisions. Miami coach Al Golden says the "ACC tournament" is now set to begin, and he's got a point.
