It might’ve taken a difficult scenario like the one his quarterbacks faced Saturday in Virginia’s 28-14 loss to North Carolina State to shape U.Va. coach Mike London’s opinion about where true freshman David Watford’s early career path needs to head.
After seeing Watford throw three interceptions in 16 pass attempts, while shuttling in and out of the game as a backup for nine different series, London said Sunday night he's re-formulating his ideas regarding the best ways to use Watford.
“We just have to take a hard look at ourselves, and look at our guys, our young guys, our quarterbacks, and say, ‘Listen, are we putting them in a good situation for them to be successful?’” said London, whose team plays Thursday night at
