B1G has two Lombardi Award semifinalists

Illinois defensive end Whitney Mercilus and Michigan State defensive tackle Jerel Worthy are among the 12 semifinalists for the Rotary Lombardi Award.
The Big Ten trails the SEC (4) and the Pac-12 (3) for the most semifinalists.
