Bears stay alive in NCAA tournament

Baylor batted its way past UT-Arlington on Saturday, 11-6, to avoid elimination from the Waco Regional in this year’s NCAA tournament.
Senior Josh Ludy went 4-for-4, including a solo home run, and the Bears knocked five doubles in the offensive surge.
Max Garner got the win for tossing 3.0 relief innings, holding the Mavericks scoreless in the sixth, seventh and eighth innings as the Bears grabbed a lead they would not relinquish. Adam Boydston suffered the loss.
