CINCINNATI (AP) — The Bengals have released defensive end Derrick Harvey, who signed as a free agent last March. Harvey played his first three seasons with Jacksonville, then two with Denver before leaving as an unrestricted free agent. The Bengals hoped he would give them more depth on the line. He was released one week into training camp. The Bengals (No. 14 in the AP Pro32) open their preseason on Friday against the New York Jets at Paul Brown Stadium.
