Coach Butch Jones said he was pleased with the way his team performed in a 72-10 win over Austin Peay, especially with the five turnovers it created. The Bearcats were minus-15 last season in turnover margin, so it was good for Jones to see some of the word they concentrated on during the offseason pay off. He was also asked about receiver Kenbrell Thompkins, who was a Tennessee signee before going the junior college route and ending up at Cincinnati. The Bearcats play at Tennessee on Saturday.
