Bills’ Mario Williams gets own cereal

Two games. Three solo tackles. One pass defended. One fumble recovery. That’s all it took for Mario Williams to get his own box of cereal in Buffalo. Perhaps it was much more so the six year, $100 million deal he signed with the Bills in March – the richest contract of any defensive player in NFL history.
On Tuesday, Williams officially unveiled his MariO’s at a Tops Friendly Market in suburban Buffalo. Williams is far from the first Bills player to have a cereal named after him. Doug Flutie had Flutie Flakes and Terrell Owens had T.O.’s (which have probably magically morphed into MariO’s).
The purpose of the cereal isn’t to put more money into Williams’ pockets, but rather raise money for a great Buffalo charity. All of the proceeds from the cereal go towards Carly’s Club, a Buffalo charity which supports children with cancer, and their families.
