Braves appear close to adding lefty Sherrill

Braves general manager Frank Wren wasn't ready to confirm that there was an agreement reached with George Sherrill on Wednesday. But he provided every indication that he's aggressively moving toward making Sherrill as the left-handed specialist he has been looking for to add to his bullpen.
