Cardinals slugger Pujols held out against Pirates

ST. LOUIS (AP) — St. Louis Cardinals first baseman Albert Pujols was held out of the starting lineup Sunday against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Manager Tony La Russa said he felt Pujols needed a day off.
