Colts agree to terms with QB Kerry Collins

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — The Indianapolis Colts are bringing one veteran quarterback out of retirement.

Just not the one everybody expected.

On Wednesday, the Colts signed Kerry Collins to back up Peyton Manning as the four-time MVP continues to recover from offseason neck surgery.

Colts owner Jim Irsay announced the deal with Twitter posting Wednesday.

"We have agreed to terms with Kerry Collins...more details to come.
