Could Raiders take a look at Maybin?

Former Buffalo defensive end/linebacker Aaron Maybin cleared waivers Tuesday. The No. 11 overall pick in the 2009 draft was cut Monday. He is free to sign anywhere. ESPN’s John Clayton tweeted that Oakland could show interest. Al Davis has made a living of giving former first-round picks a second chance, so it’s possible. He’d come cheaply, that’s for sure.

- The supplemental draft has been postponed without a rescheduled date. There is still no clarity if the NFL will allow former Ohio State quarterback Terrelle Pryor in the draft. Oakland has been connected to him.
- Denver linebacker D.J. Williams has been implicated in a Yahoo Sports investigation about alleged NCAA infractions at the University of Miami. Williams joined the NFL in 2004.
