Coyotes cut roster by 16; 28 players remain

Phoenix Coyotes update:
The Coyotes have reduced their roster by 16, leaving 28 players in training camp.
These players have been reassigned to the San Antonio Rampage of the AHL:
Goaltenders: Matt Climie, Al Montoya.
Defensemen: Jonas Ahnelov, Garrett Stafford, Michael Stone, Chris Summers, Nolan Yonkman.
Forwards: Matt Beaudoin, Ryan Hollweg, Bracken Kearns, Josh Lunden, Brett Maclean, Alexander Picard, Blair Riley,
Also: Defenseman Brandon Gormley has been returned to the Moncton Wildcats of the QMJHL, and defenseman Shane Hnidy, who was in camp on a tryout, suffered a shoudler injury and is out indefinitely.
