St. Louis Rams head coach Steve Spagnuolo said Wednesday, Sept. 14, that WR Greg Salas will work in the slot with WR Danny Amendola (dislocated elbow) sidelined.
Huddle Up: Brandon Gibson stays at flanker, Mike Sims-Walker at split end. For fantasy PPR purposes Salas could be very productive, working out of the busy slot in OC Josh McDaniels' offense; but let's not put the cart before the horse. Amendola is lobbying coaches to let him play Monday night and "Rams doctors are gonna have to try to hold him out" says Adam Schefter. Most sources do believe Amendola will return before the Week 5 bye.
