Dec 11, 2011; Baltimore, MD, USA; Baltimore Ravens tight end Dennis Pitta (88) stands after catching a Joe Flacco (not shown) touchdown pass against the Indianapolis Colts
Baltimore Ravens tight end Dennis Pitta left the field during training camp on Monday with an injury. The injury appeared to be a break in his hand and it is likely that he’ll miss the rest of camp and possibly the September 10th opener. Pitta is expected to undergo surgery to repair any damage. The loss is significant for the Ravens as Pitta has become one of Joe Flacco’s more reliable targets in the passing game.
