Dolphins | Questions at tight end
Source: Footballguys.com - Mar 16, 2012 at 1:38 PM
Miami Dolphins head coach Joe Philbin must figure out if TE Anthony Fasano can fill the starting tight end role in his West Coast system. In Philbin's offense, the tight end position plays an important role as it serves as the primary checkdown for quarterbacks. If Fasano isn't the answer, the Dolphins may look to the free-agent market to add TE Dallas Clark (Colts) or Joel Dreessen (Texans); they could also address the position during the NFL Draft, looking to find a tight end capable of being a threat in the seam. With Philbin's ties to the Green Bay Packers, the team could look to trade for one of the Packers' five tight ends, possibly DJ Williams.
