If NC State fans thought this was a painful game to watch, imagine how quarterback Mike Glennon
felt. He was pushed around, pressured, sacked, and accounted for three turnovers
as a result (two interceptions and a fumble). It was an ugly game for the Wolfpack, and a complete game for Florida State, which finally looked like the team many expected it to be this past August. The Noles got their running game going again, quarterback EJ Manuel
threw for more than 300 yards and made plays with his feet, and FSU racked up 443 total yards. NC State looked inept for four quarters, and there was no sign of life out of the locker room.
Both of these teams are afterthoughts in the Atlantic Division race, and the Wolfpack's chances of becoming a factor again are even more farfetched. If Florida State plays the way it did today for the rest of the season, though, there's no reason to think the Noles won't run the table. NC State, on the other hand, still needs to find three wins just to become bowl eligible. UNC, Boston College and Maryland are suddenly must-wins.
