General News. Bailey, Pencil Earn McLendon Scholarships

Oklahoma hurdler Eric Bailey and graduate assistant Sherraine Pencil were named winners of the 2010-11 John McLendon Postgraduate Scholarship, the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) announced this week. The pair is the first set of graduate students to be awarded from the same school. Oklahoma has had a recipient of the scholarship in each of the last four years.
