Grains futures rise, livestock prices mostly fall

CHICAGO (AP) — Grains futures rose in early trading Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for December delivery added 7.50 cents to $7.7350 a bushel; December corn rose 4.50 cents to $7.39 a bushel; December oats rose 3.50 cents to $3.6650 a bushel; and November soybeans gained 3.75 cents to $13.89 a bushel.
Beef and pork futures fell or were flat on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
October live cattle was unchanged at $1.1570 a pound; October feeder cattle slid 0.07 cent to $1.3450 a pound; and October lean hogs fell 1.05 cent to 87.95 cents a pound.
