Halftime: Clemson 23, Boston College 7

This is exactly the kind of start Clemson needed -- a convincing one. Clemson fans have watched one-too-many unsettling starts from their Tigers, and Clemson has avoided that today.
BC's defense made some good plays in this half, and held Clemson to two field goals in the second quarter. The Eagles have also proven early that they can score some points on the Tigers' D, but there's a reason Clemson is ranked and undefeated. Clemson's defense has to limit the big plays in the second half, and play like this game is just as important as any of the past three, and there should be no problem getting to 6-0 for bowl eligibility.
Clemson's staff deserves credit for keeping the players humble this week and getting off to a fast start. For a program that is notorious for its letdowns, Clemson has shown no signs of it today.
