Halftime: Oklahoma 23, Iowa State 6

The Sooners played uninspired early, but began rolling in the second quarter to take a 17-point lead into halftime.
Turning point: After a poor punt by Iowa State’s Kirby Van Der Kamp, the Sooners dialed up a reverse to former high school track star Trey Franks. Thanks to a key block by tackle Donald Stephenson, Franks dashed 43 yards to the Iowa State 25, the fourth-longest run by a Sooner this season. Blake Bell later punched the ball in for a touchdown to give the Sooners a 17-6 lead.
