Haren, Marmol Swap Reportedly Close, Not Done

Although initial reports were that the Angels and Cubs swapped pitchers Dan Haren and Carlos Marmol, indications are now that a deal hasn't been consummated.
Various Spanish-language reports on Twitter are saying that Chicago Cubs reliever Carlos Marmol has been traded to the Anaheim Angels for starting pitcher Dan Haren.
Marmol is a high-strikeout, high-walk pitcher who has been a mild disappointment the last couple of seasons after once looking like he could be one of the dominant relievers in the major leaguers. He's under contract for 2013 for $9.8 million.
Haren was a disappointment for the Angels last season, posting a 4.33 ERA and pitching fewer than 200 innings for the first time since 2004. Haren will
