In a ruling today, the NCAA put the smack down and ESPiN and the University of Texas demand desire to broadcast high school football games. The NCAA has ruled that it "will not allow the televising of high school games on school or conference networks." This has to be considered a fairly substantial blow to ESPiN executives who had given every indication they were going to ignore the Big 12's decision to ban high school games and UT administrators who got called on their b.s. and will surely look even more pathetic when they try and play off this decision as 'no big deal.'
