The Virginia Tech football team anticipated a big day of recruiting visits on Saturday as they hosted their 2012 Spring Football game. The Hokies current roster never hit the field, however, but it didn't affect their success on the recruiting trail. Tech received seven commitments on Saturday to move their 2013 recruiting class up to No. 10 in the country.
The biggest commitment of the day was by far, Bucky Hodges, out of Salem High School. The local product has been a big target for the Hokies for a long time with their lack of success in recruiting quarterbacks recently. At
