Hokies' defense continues to be injury-prone

BLACKSBURG The beleaguered Virginia Tech defense just can't catch a break with injuries. Two more starters went out for the game in Saturday's 30-14 win against Boston College. Defensive end James Gayle re-aggravated a left ankle injury on the first drive and linebacker Bruce Taylor was forced out of the game in the second half after spraining his right foot.
