How big are Big 12 recruiting budgets?

Our friends at RecruitingNation took a look at recruiting spending across the nation this week, topped by a column from colleague Mitch Sherman. ESPN.com gathered budget data from 99 of 120 Football Bowl Subdivision programs for the 2011 and 2010 fiscal years. Private schools such Notre Dame, USC, Stanford and Miami did not report figures, in addition to colleges in Pennsylvania, where laws do not require public schools to disclose data. The numbers, from one program to the next, raise eyebrows.
