Injury report (Gayle back, but probably not Hosley), plus emptying the notebook from Boston College week

Virginia Tech just released its injury report for Saturday’s home game against Boston College.
Defensive end James Gayle is not on it. He sprained his left ankle early against Miami two weeks ago and missed last week’s trip to Wake Forest. Tyrel Wilson started in his place. Gayle said this week that he thought he would play against Boston College.
All-American cornerback Jayron Hosley is on the report. He is doubtful with a left hamstring injury. He missed last Monday and Tuesday’s practices because of the hamstring, then returned to practice, but tweaked it in the first quarter at Wake.
Redshirt freshman Detrick Bonner will start in Hosley’s place, as he did after Hosley got hurt at Wake. Hosley being
