Iowa Scene: ISU football receives commitment

FOOTBALL: The Iowa State football team received its second verbal commitment of 2013 when defensive back Kamari Syrie accepted a scholarship offer. The 5-foot-10, 190-pound Syrie, from Hurst, Texas, also drew interest from North Texas, Indiana and Rice.
