Jason Collins Re-Signs With Atlanta Hawks
Under Mike Woodson last season, center Jason Collins saw little playing time with the Atlanta Hawks. But with new coach Larry Drew in, Collins decided to re-sign with the team.
Collins only played 24 games last season, tallying a combined 16 points and 14 rebounds for the season while averaging 4.7 minutes per game.
The 7-foot, nine-year veteran will help add depth and also become a helpful back-up to the team alongside Josh Powell.
The team's big men dominance depends on whether or not they sign Shaq.
