In Game 1 of the Los Angeles Kings' Stanley Cup Final against the New Jersey Devils, goalie Jonathan Quick had some adventures in puckhandling that led to Devils chances.
In Game 5, again in Newark and with the Cup within reach for LA, Quick's gaffe behind his own net led to the first goal of the game via Devils captain Zach Parise:
Whoops. It was the Devils' first power play goal of the series, as Quick had previously helped shut down the man advantage for an 0-for-15 count. It was also Parise's first point of the Final, having gone scoreless and a minus-2.
