Karstens takes ball for rubber match against Cubs

Both the Pirates and Cubs were very busy on Tuesday as the non-waiver Trade Deadline approached, making a bevy of trades. With the trading window behind them, the clubs will be focused on Wednesday's rubber match in Chicago, where Pittsburgh's Jeff Karstens will oppose Travis Wood.
