Kent State drops Purdue into NCAA baseball regional losers' bracket

With one train wreck inning on Saturday night, Purdue's postseason charge received a sudden jolt. Kent State used a five-run second inning to take control in an eventual 7-3 victory in an NCAA regional game at U.S. Steel Yard.
