Unlike Bama’s workhorse Richardson, Tigers share the load

There might not be a back in the country that can do what Alabama’s Trent Richardson can.
There aren’t any on LSU’s roster that want to.
The Crimson Tide tailback has toted the ball 263 times, 89 more than any back on the Tiger squad.
“I couldn’t imagine getting the ball 35 times,” said LSU sophomore Michael Ford. “We have a great stable of backs, and that helps us stay fresh. The other thing is that when guys come off the field, they tell us what they see.”
