4:59 p.m.: Alabama takes a 5-2 lead on a Jaz Lunceford home run.
4:54 p.m.: A pick-off and strike out ended Cal’s threat in the sixth. Alabama now three outs from championship series.
4:51 p.m.: Alabama finds trouble in the sixth. Cal has runners on first and second with no out. Go-ahead run at the plate.
4:44 p.m.: In softball action, Alabama leads Cal 4-2 in the sixth inning. A win would send the Tide to the championship series. A Cal victory means the two would play again for that ticket to the finals. Alabama pitcher Jackie Traina has allowed just two hits so far. The Tide is the home team on the scoreboard.
