The three AFC South teams that play on natural grass rank in the middle of the league, according to the annual player survey put out by the NFL Players Association.
But the Colts have the No. 1 artificial surface out of the 14 teams that play on turf.
I had no idea it was so highly regarded, though I think it really completes the picture of Lucas Oil Stadium as a top-flight facility. I think it’s a wonderful place to watch a game. Players think it’s a great place to play one too.
